20 Year Anniversary Celebration

20 year anniversary celebration

Red Deer Village in Stepps, Glasgow, celebrated a fantastic day on Saturday, 29 June. The 20 year anniversary open day was enjoyed by all. It was a great chance to meet friends, view our residential park homes for sale, and raise funds for local charity, Cardowan Community Meadow. Read on to find out the details of our very special occasion.

Decorations

The Red Deer Village residents’ hub was decorated by office staff, Veronica, Leah Louise and Elizabeth. They did a fantastic job, with bunting, balloons and a table of fantastic raffle prizes. They picked a striking red and gold theme to match the park’s logo.

Food

A hog roast was brought to us by the marvellous Rootin’ and Roamin’ Free Range Pork. The team were very friendly and even had enough for seconds. Their pork rolls were delicious, complete with crackling, sage and onion stuffing and a variety of sauces. A huge thank you to them!  Red Deer Village’s birthday cake made for a great dessert afterwards.

Cardowan Community Meadow

Cardowan Community Meadow joined us on the day. They chatted to residents, helped to sell raffle tickets and brought with them healthy green super shots as a taster. They even donated a fantastic raffle prize of green fruit and vegetables, to continue with our “emerald” 20 year anniversary theme.

The moment everyone’s been waiting for – how much did we raise for Cardowan Community Meadow through our charity raffle? A fantastic £680.23! Thank you to everyone who donated, we couldn’t have done it without you. This will be used to improve our local community and will make a huge difference.

Local Councillors

We were pleased to welcome our local councillors to our 20 year anniversary party. Claire Williams and John McLaren of the Stepps, Muirhead and Chryston area both joined us.
