August Courtesy Minibus Trip 2018

August Courtesy Minibus Trip

Red Deer Village is proud to have a courtesy mini bus that takes residents to do their shopping on a Thursday and Friday. We’re always asking for suggestions for new supermarkets to ensure all residents can use the bus to its full capability. In addition, once a month our bus driver, Alistair, will take residents on an outing of their choice. Together our residents have been to various locations across Scotland and we know there’s many more they still plan to tick off the list.

The mini bus is one of the village’s greatest assets, because it allows our residents to remain independent and encourages neighbours to spend time together. During the trips residents spend much time socialising and getting to know each other. Lot’s of fun is always had on the monthly day trips and the August trip was no exception!

August courtesy minibus trip

This months courtesy mini bus trip took place on Thursday 30th August. The residents made the decision to visit Ayr. All of our residents wished to enjoy a day out lunching, shopping and wandering through the town. Many even enjoyed an Ayr show taking place!
