Phase 4 Development at Red Deer Village

This new phase 4 area of the retirement park is set to feature larger homes. Phase 4 will be home to around 35 new park homes.  The first street underway, Highland Way, already has its first new owners, and another 5 homes are being prepared to open for viewing. Its’ unique advantage is an excellent outlook over Cardowan Moss nature reserve. We’ll also be introducing brand new, never-before-seen at the park models to the area. Plus, Red Deer will continue to work closely with our new park home manufacturer, Omar. Coming soon include the Omar Anniversary, Ikon, Image, Regency, Colorado and Middleton. There’ll be a wide variety of models, sizes and layouts to choose from! See our residential park homes for sale page for more information on each home available.

Red Deer Village welcomed its’ first Omar over 50’s residential park homes in November 2022. Directors, John and Ivan Hendry, have a history with Omar. Their parents put one of Omar’s new homes on their first development in Cambridgeshire, back in 1983 – 40 years ago!

As is the case throughout the park, residential park homes for sale will be available turn key. However, there is also the option to order a bespoke park home. You can order everything directly to your specification, and choose your preferred pitch. This can include designing your dream kitchen, altering a layout, or simply changing the colours.

Park homes within Red Deer’s retirement village phase 4 development can be reserved for up to 6 months. There is no stamp duty to pay. Red Deer Village offers a competitive part exchange scheme. This is to help make the buying and selling process run as smoothly a possible.

Over 50’s Residential Retirement Village in Scotland

Red Deer Village’s valued community spirit of like-minded neighbours centres around its’ residents hub, where regular events and activities are held. Residents here can enjoy a tea or coffee and catch-up with their friends, or participate in the hub book exchange. The park also offers a courtesy shuttle bus service. This takes residents for their shopping twice a week, and on monthly outings to destinations of residents’ choice.

Red Deer Village has achieved a number of accolades through our nature conservation work. The park has won multiple David Bellamy Gold Shield awards, and received special recognition for its’ hedgerows, wildflowers and woodlands. Red Deer is a registered honey bee friendly park. It has also been certified carbon literate for staff members attending a carbon footprint course and has achieved the bronze RSPB Wild Challenge.

After the David Bellamy Conservation Scheme remodelling, they took park in the Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature. As part of this pledge, the Home Sweet Home and Everyone Active challenges have been completed, with the Pollinator Patch challenge underway. These in turn encourage creation of habitat for wildlife through artificial and natural homes, planting for pollinating insects and getting residents involved in our efforts. Red Deer also participated in PlantLife’s No Mow May 2023 campaign, designed to allow grasses and spring wildflowers to grow longer in areas.
