Luxury retirement park homes

At Red Deer Village we only source luxury park homes from leading manufacturers, who build homes to the highest standards and regulations. They are constructed using quality building materials, which ensure they are environmentally friendly and score high on energy efficiency ratings. This typically means that our park homes are cheaper to run than a traditional home.

All of our residential homes for sale are fitted to high specifications and feature luxury fittings and modern interiors. We work extremely hard to create spaces where residents feel comfortable and can enjoy their retirement, without the hassle of time-consuming maintenance or costly home improvements. Our park homes are available to buy turn key ready complete with all furnishings and appliances, meaning you don’t have to redecorate or spend time shopping. However, if you would prefer to play a more active role in designing your home, you can work with our interior designer, Ashleigh to create the bespoke retirement property you’ve always dreamed of. We think we offer some of the best residential park homes in Scotland!

The ideal size

Retirement is about slowing down and enjoying your leisure time, so we understand that cleaning and maintaining a large property can be a burden. It can also get too much and become a worry for couples who can no longer manage. Residential park homes on the other hand, are sized accordingly, (typically 40ft x 20ft) allowing you to spend more time doing what you love whilst maintaining your independence. Clever storage solutions ensure there’s plenty of room for all your possessions and some of our properties even have garages.

Maintaining your independence

In your later years we understand mobility can be a concern and that stairs can be testing. That’s why all of our park homes are single story and designed to see you through your retirement. For increased accessibility we can arrange for a number of adaptions to be put in place. These include ramped access, railings that match the colour scheme of your home and a wet room.

A common misconception about retirement villages is that you are not allowed visitors to stay. On the contrary, we encourage friends and family to visit and you are more than welcome to have your grandchildren to stay.

Pet friendly

We know that pets are an important part of the family and that many of our residents rely on their cats or dogs for companionship. That’s why we’ve ensured that our park homes and communal areas are pet friendly. Red Deer Village is situated close to scenic dog walks, which provide the ideal place to spend a leisurely afternoon with your four legged friend.

Low running costs

Residential parks home offer excellent value for money. They typically have lower running costs and utilities such as gas, electric and water are mains connected, meaning you can choose your preferred supplier. Residents are required to pay a small service fee each month, which covers the upkeep of communal areas.

 Secure gated community

We know the importance of feeling comfortable in your own home, that’s why we’ve invested in a gated intercom system and site wide CCTV for added peace of mind. Relax in the knowledge that friendly neighbours are close by and that your home is secure when you’re away from home. One of the benefits of living in a retirement village is you are surrounded by likeminded people with a similar outlook on life, so you won’t be disturbed by noisy neighbours or unsociable behaviour.

There is a real community spirit at Red Deer and our residents are a friendly bunch who look out for each other. Our retirement village is the ideal place to socialise and offers plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Our community hub is the heart of social events and plays host to a number of events throughout the year. We think it’s important for residents to play an active role in shaping the environment they live, that’s why our residents are in charge of arranging the social calendar.

Beautiful communal spaces

Throughout Red Deer Village there are a number of communal spaces that residents can enjoy, including landscaped areas, green spaces, floral arrangements and a beautiful water feature and pond. These are all looked after by our gardening team, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque setting without having to worry about doing the work!

Red Deer is set in a wonderful location, just a short walk from Frankfield Loch, Hogganfield Loch and the Local Nature Reserve, ideal for residents with dogs.
