Community

One of the biggest benefits of living in a park home in a residential village is being part of a tight-knit community. This communal spirit creates a welcoming atmosphere and a supportive network of individuals who share similar interests and values. At Red Deer Village, we foster a close-knit community where neighbours often develop lasting friendships and bonds. Through resident-hosted community events, our annual Macmillan Coffee Mornings, and our communal Residents Hub where friendships are built, there are plenty of opportunities to create new and long-lasting relationships.

Freeing up equity

Park homes are typically cheaper than traditional bricks and mortar properties, which means that downsizing can release equity tied up in your home. Moving into a park home can free up money, that you can spend during your retirement years. With this extra money, you can indulge in well-deserved holidays and pursue new hobbies while enjoying the comforts of your park home.

Reduced home and outdoor maintenance

Downsizing to a park home has major benefits. As retirees, you most likely want to use your time doing the things you love rather than spending it maintaining your home. Having a more compact living space means you won’t have the burden of excessive extra space that requires constant cleaning. You can utilise your time more freely and spend valuable time with your loved ones.

When it comes to our park homes at Red Deer Village, most of the gardens are shared and maintained by our wonderful groundskeeping team. This means you don’t need to spend your time gardening. All you have to do is enjoy the outdoor space! If you do need help maintaining the small, private, landscaped area outside of your home, you can employ the services of our in-house gardening team. They are always available to help you – all you need to do is ask.

Safe and secure

Residents safety is a top priority at residential home parks. At Red Deer Village for example, we have a strong security system to ensure that you can rest comfortably. There is a secure gated entrance and CCTV cameras to give you peace of mind. You can enjoy your holidays peacefully, knowing that your home is safe and that neighbours are watching your home.

Time to explore

Red Deer Village is located on the outskirts of Glasgow, in the vibrant country of Scotland. Our charming over 50’s residential park homes are situated within easy reach of a range of amenities, including shops, hairdressers and a pharmacy, which means you don’t have to travel far for necessities.

The convenient location offers residents the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds – easy access to the city and a tranquil setting to relax and unwind. From our village, residents can enjoy walks around nearby Frankfield Loch, where you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding environment. There are excellent public transport links into Glasgow. There, you can explore the bustle of city life in Glasgow and dive into the historical beginnings of the capital through museums and other spectacular attractions.

Beauty spots including Loch Lomond, Stirling and Edinburgh are all just a short drive away. We often visit these places during monthly day trips on our communal bus.
