Christmas Lights Switch-on 2018

Lights Switch-on

Our annual Christmas lights switch-on took place on 27 November! We also donated £250 worth of Christmas presents to The Salvation Army to distribute to kids in the local area at the event.

Red Deer Village turned on their Christmas lights for the first time on Tuesday 27 November 2018. The annual event kicked off around 4:30pm. Residents arrived to enjoy cakes, sweets and mince pies. The grand lights switch-on took place at 5pm. Guests then wandered around the park to see the decorations.

Ashleigh, our interior designer, designed our residents’ hub in the Christmas spirit for the lights switch-on, using red and green tones for the tree this year.

The Salvation Army were also in attendance. They collected £250 worth of Christmas presents from Red Deer Village to distribute to kids in the local area. Residents also donated presents and money to The Salvation Army for the worthy cause.

The event was enjoyed by all, and we hope you all take pleasure in Red Deer Village being lit up for the festive season! We look forward to our next Christmas lights switch-on.
